 I bought some shares of MGM casinos and resorts last week thinking I was getting a great deal around $11.30 a share.  Then I bought even more to average myself down when the stock decided to plummet to around $11.00.  Three days later,I’m still losing money as the stock continues to drop more and more with seemingly no end in sight as if there were absolutely no resistance points in the stock. =/

I’m hoping the bleeding stops soon, because MGM has always been good to me in the past. At the rate things are going though, I feel like I would of had a better chance to make money by gambling in the casino, rather than on it lol.

I’ve decided it’s time to save up a little bit…. pay off some debts, and save up for an Asia Trip!  HK, Taiwan, Japan, and possibly Macau.  Trip is currently set to take place January 2012.  Whose coming with me?

Heroes Season 3: Episode 13: (Dec 15 2008)

I love the opening and closing narration of this episode… Some of the best writing in the series:

Opening narration:

“On the sixth day, God created man in his own image. Now it’s up to us to figure it all out. Right… wrong…good…evil. In each of us is the capacity to decide what drives our actions. So what is it that makes some choose selflessness–the need to devote one self to something greater–while others know only self-interest, isolating themselves in a world of their own making? Some seek love even if requieted, while others are driven by fear and betrayal. There are those who see their choices as dark proof of God’s absence, while others follow a path of noble destiny. But in the end, good, evil, right or wrong, what we choose is never what we really need. For that is the ultimate cosmic joke…the real gift that God has left behind.”

Closing Narration:

“There is good, and there is evil. Right and wrong. Heroes and villains. And if we are blessed with wisdom, then there are glimpses between the cracks of each where light streams through. We wait in silence for these times, when sense can be made, when meaningless existence comes into focus and our purpose presents itself. Daytrading stocks has become my second job lately.  No matter what time I come home from work the previous night, I have to set my alarm to wake me up by 6 AM to get ready for premarket trading, and to get an idea of how the day will go.  I guess that’s why I keep forgetting about this blog… too much stressing over how much of my money I have in certain stocks.  The next couple days could be huge or very devastating for me since I have nearly 25% of my portfolio in a company called: HEMISPHERX BIOPHARMA INC (HEB). They have a drug on standby for FDA approval within the next couple days, if approved I believe my portfolio value can triple…… if not approved I’ll probably lose all my money in that stock.   Guess I should continue to think postively and will update this with results later.

Lebron James is a beast! This years playoffs have been the most entertaining in a long time indeed, and last nights game winning shot by Lebron was nothing short of spectacular! Of course because they blew a 23 point lead they should never have been in that situation to begin with…. but thats exactly the kind of playoffs its been this year. Thats why I love this years NBA motto…. “Where will amazing happen this year?” We  are all witnesses to greatness King James!
